Mga Kwentong Bartero

Hindi lahat ng kwento kwela.
Hindi lahat ng kwento ay totoo.
May kwentong barbero.
May kwentong kutsero.
Pero ang kwento ay kwento.
Ang akin, Bartero.
Basahin mo...
Malay mo...
May kwenta rin pala kwento ko.

I Cooked My Own Breakfast

October 23, 2007

Nothing much to say.

I fried an egg, if that is considered cooking, and it looked like uhhhmmm…. how would i describe it…. uhhhmmm… it looked like hell. I overfried it and I can still feel the small splatters of oil in my hand. I hope it won't leave a mark. Huhu.

Ok, the first thing to do was to crack the egg. And I forgot, I'm bad at cracking eggs. But I did it anyway; though the egg did not went out the way I see Ate Tess do it. Then- pshshshshshssh- yessss, I am cooking!!

I was looking at the egg while it was being fried. I did not expect that it would be fried that fast. Then, I flipped the egg. I thought that would be easy; it was not even close to being easy. Haha.

I fried this hell-looking egg for just about a minute or so. Time went by so fast that it became impossible to notice. Haha.

Anyway, now I am looking at my work of art, my masterpiece. I have to eat it now before my sister sees it. Haha. I like how it taste because, of course, I cooked it my self. But I am proud to say that I am not proud of what I did. Haha. If that even makes sense.

Now, I am making a sandwich; a peanutbutter sandwich to be specific. And I know, I'm good at making peanutbutter sandwich. Haha.

And what did I learn from this experience?

  • Don't cook if you don't know how, or at least watch someone else who knows how before you cook. Haha.

  • Cooking can not be learned through words alone.

  • Overfried egg does taste like overfried chicken and anything else that is overfried. Haha.

  • Ate Tess is a good cook.

  • Don't cook if you don't have to.

  • I'm starting to love the art of cooking. And FYI, this is my first time to cook for my self. Haha.

  • I'd rather eat than cook.

  • I'll marry someone who's good in cooking… and baking. Haha.

  • And lastly, the joke, "Cook is better than Pipse", IS CORNY.

"COOK is not a noun to be defined, it is a verb to be acted upon" :D
